IT’S TIME TO COME HOME
“Some books inform you, this one confronts you. That's Not My Name doesn't just diagnose the wound, it dares you to stop living under a hidden identity. Your real name is waiting, the time is now to go find it.”
Mark Batterson, NYT bestselling author of The Circle Maker
IN THAT’S NOT MY NAME,
Jeremy Williamson invites you into the difficult, hopeful work of uncovering the false names that have shaped your life. Through vulnerable stories, Scripture, and hard-won wisdom from his own journey, Jeremy explores how we become consumed, erased, and obliterated—and how those wounds have distorted our relationships, our faith, and the people we've become.
This isn’t a book about becoming a better version of yourself. It’s an invitation to rebel against false names and come home to the person God created before the world told you who you had to be.
Your false names may have shaped your story. But they don’t get to name you anymore.
-
We all answer to names we were never meant to carry, and those names shaped our future. They were spoken over us in childhood by the wounded people we trusted. We’ve been surviving them for decades without even knowing what they are. That's Not My Name walks into that story with accessible language, candor, and a refusal to rush the reader toward tidy relief.
-
Jeremy helps us find words for our story, sits with us in the wound the way real healing requires, and only then walks us home — from the prison of our false name, through grief in the wilderness, to a seat at the Father's table that has always been ours to inhabit. Built on story rather than technique, Jeremy is honest about how slowly the work actually goes, and designed the reader-journey to be undertaken with trusted brothers or a counselor, not just a book one reads.

Your Seat at the Table Was
Never Conditional
The names spoken over you may have shaped your story. They may explain the ways you’ve hidden, performed, fought, or run. They may have followed you for decades.
But they were never meant to have the final word.
There is a name older than the wounds you carry; a name that speaks to who you were always meant to be.
It’s time to discover that name.
It’s time to come home.
It’s time to take your seat at the table.
